til: Starbucks Cup

My craving for starbucks has really waned this summer. Even the taste of coffee (hot or cold) has just nauseated me. But today, I had a hankering for some joe. So, on the way home from our (seems like) weekly Old Navy trip, we stoped to get iced caremel non-fat lattes. Yum. Bonus: Sitting there were the hard to find plastic starbucks cups for iced drinkes. I snatche mine up with a vengence. I am so excited to find one. It is the grande size, which is good enough. I am excited to use this not only for my starbucks but my homemade ice tea at school w/out leaking condensation all over the desk.

ps...here is t minues two weeks until I return to work.

  • Lose 10% of my starting weight (down 17 lbs). Because it is what is best for your heart.
  • Lose 20 pounds and keep it off for a week. WOW. Every exciting. I think this deserves a date night with my husband. My pick on the movie and dinner.
  • Lose 24 and keep it off for a week. GOAL!! This is the purchasing of clothing phase.

Milestones or steping stones. I really want to make this work. Anyone want to do this with me?!

Weight Goals

After looking at another blog, I am going to take up her blogging style.

I took a look at her goals and am going to base mine along the same lines as her.

  • Get down to 150 pounds. I know I will never make it to my prechildren weight (135lbs). Kids really did a tole on my body.
  • Cooking. I am setting goals right...I would like to not eat out but I don't see that as actually happening...I would like to make one crockpot meal a week. It is not hard...just take preplanning.
  • Drink water. I will drink 100 oz of water a day....well 96. I have a 32 oz cup and will drink three a day (as long as there is drinkable water in our house).
  • Exercise. I bought new clothing for this and have to use it. I am going to deem at least 30 minutes a day to doing something that is not sitting still.
  • Get on the scale every morning. There will obviously be exceptions, but for the most part, I’m going to stick to this.
  • Take 15 minutes a day to be by myself and do something for me. Plucking eyebrows, painting toe nails, organizing my drawers...help myself.
